“Parking was easy. Check-in was difficult as hours were limited and their phones didn’t work to discuss later check-in arrangements. Check out was 10:00, but was asked to return the keys by 9:30.. Room was cute and historic looking. Breakfast is lack lustre. Real eggs and butter vs “spread” would have made all the difference. Similar priced, but nicer places are nearby. Look around first. ”

“Had a great stay at Econo Lodge. It was an impromptu weekend trip and we just needed somewhere to stay for two nights. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and well presented. The maid replaced our towels, even though we never put the 'please make up our room' tag. The hotel is conveniently located between Brisbane City and the Gold Coast, which makes it easy to get around if you have a car and are sightseeing the region. “The room was very clean, plenty of room, fridge and coffe tea sugars well stocked Very comfy bed with great amount of pillows. Was kept cool through having an aircon and wifi was excellent. Just a pity it didnt have opening windows. Can get slightly noisey from other occupants. The only problem we had is when they required our visa card incase of damages which was fine but didnt like the fact they took our card out of sight (in the back) to write down details instead of doing it in front of us....
