Hotel a Gleneden Beach

“It’s spring break in Oregon which you would think would mean more staff or the property being ready to handle that. First impression going to our room was a heaping garbage in front of our room , definitely not emptied an it was still the same after 3 days being there . The pool had no towels for us and we had to wait nearly an hour to get any. Then the sauna was broken, the bathroom in the pool area was not cleaned either . “Parking was good. Room clean, but small. No drawers for clothing, no closet, no chairs, just tiny stools, hard to keep towels dry as there were no towel racks. Refrigerator and microwave were convenient.OK for a day or two. When driving out from motel onto Highway 101, the South exit gives much better visibility of traffic during busy times.”

“Most staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was right by the check in area. The second night we had neighbors that sounded like they were playing a football game. Door banging shut constantly, banging against the walls that shook our room. Sounds like furniture was being moved around. Kids yelling and running in and out. I mentioned it to the desk clerk and he said he could hear ir too some, but he did nothing about it. I would appreciate a refund of that night. I considered leaving in...

“We booked a room that had a fire place. However, when we tried to use it, the pilot light went out. Then we tried to call the front desk, but the phone didn't work. We tried to call using our phone, but the voicemail was full. ”

“The steps on the stairs are metal bars - like at a ski resort. They are treacherous and my 60 lb dog refused to go down them. I had to carry her down 2 flights and I knew I couldn't be doing that safely in the dark. Luckily they had one first floor room available for $100 more. (plus the $30 pet fee I'd already paid.) “Please note that ocean view is partial for most all rooms with exception to maybe rooms on the fourth and fifth floors and on the south side of the building. We were placed on the third floor on the north side of the building and most of our view was of the tops of the restaurant building and the hotel on the beach. Parking is extremely tight, so if you have a large vehicle, you may have to park a bit of ways to get to the hotel. The hot tub was by reservation only and you had to reserve at 8 am...
