Hotel a Greenup

“This is nice property located in the middle of park, very nice, maintained. Very quiet environment, restaurant ( Angler’s Cove on first floor) is awesome, limited menu but good tasty food. Rooms are little small and view is not great as expected from balcony. I thought i will be seeing lake but i saw only trees and hardly any lake. But it was quiet and relaxing to sit sipping coffee. Not too many things to do around here other than fishing and boating. Good relaxing trip”

The pictures on the website told a much different story than the actual conditions of the property. When I walked into the lobby, it smelled of smoke and felt dirty. When I got to my room it smelled of vomit! The furniture had tears and stains all over. The floor looked dirty and felt sticky. I didn’t even set my luggage down. I returned my keys to the counter. “I mean honestly you get what you pay for, the room was clean as long as you don't mind roaches coming in from the AC. The staff was friendly and helpful. Its in a downtown location near several gas stations, stores and restaurants. ”
