“Having a kitchenette is nice and it is spacious. Su[er clean. The pull out couch mattress was pretty thin and not in great shape, but not horrible.
The ice maker in our freezer did not work which is a problem because, being a residence type hotel, there are no ice makers in the hallway. That being said, the hotel staff were quick to supply bags of ice and a repair man came very quickly to assess the situation.

“This was our second stay at the Publick House- It is a unique historic building. The rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it is very quiet at night. We enjoy strolling around Chester, and the location is convenient when in the area visiting family. ”

“This is a lovely inn. The stay includes a wonderful full breakfast. I just wish the room we were in had been darker for sleeping- heavier window coverings and a door sweep at the bottom of the room door to block light. Otherwise terrific in all respects!”
