Hotel sulla spiaggia a Hambantota

“Great and huge room with amazing view over the salt lake. Beautiful smiley staff. Nice pool. Very tasty uncomlicated breakfast. Our driver was provided with 3 meals a day! Fun time watching the huge monkey family playing in the trees. They can be quite loud at times. Hambantota is a small and and easy going town. Good shopping.”

Il ristorante principale dove veniva servita la colazione sembrava più una mensa universitaria che un ristorante dello Shangi La. Paragoni con altre strutture della stessa catena alberghiera non sono possibili vista la grande dufferenza di livello .”

“We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big)....

“Jeg hadde forhåndsbooket én natt, men endte opp med å bli der i syv netter! Stortrivdes! Stedet drives av to voksne brødre, med foreldrene også daglig tilstede. De er veldig hyggelige, avslappede og serviceinnstilte! Hotellet ligger 100 meter fra stranda, og har store romsligere lokaler utendørs, for både avslapning og måltider. På kveldstid er det ekstra god stemning med behagelig musikk og lys rundt trær også stolper! Stranda er endeløs lang, og nesten folketom. Så er du kun ute...

“The owner greated us with a nice cold scented towel to wipe our faces and hands on, which was very welcoming after our hot journey and a refreshing iced tea. Our bedroom was lovely and big and spotless. A nice big bathroom with plenty of hot water. The top terrace was lovely with the sea views whilst eating great food. You could walk to the beach in 5 minutes where you can find lots of great restaurants.”
