“The property was unique, comfortable and the host goes above and beyond. Important to know; The facility is a duplex though very private feeling. It is 20 min from Hobbiton, 75min from the glow worm caves. Each side has a unique character, dedicated parking, mostly private deck, bbq, and their very own outdoor private heated spa. One of the nicest places we stayed at on our trip. Thank you for sharing your hospitality with us!”

“The Shed was roomy and comfortable with great entertainment (pool table, games, tv, books, feeding the animals), good breakfast provided, a lovely park next door and so close to town (lots of dining options) and also handy to Hobbiton, golf, hot pools. Maria was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and was so helpful with our dogs - we really enjoyed our stay.”

“I was well cared for at the House with No Nails! The property is beautiful & clean, & in a gorgeous rural setting set amidst mountains, big blue skies, & farm animals. The house is an easy 25 minute drive from the Hobbiton set in Matamata, which was my plan while in this area of NZ. Highly recommended!”

“The house was absolutely beautiful and was situated about 15 minutes outside Hamilton. I have traveled a lot a the hosts were excellent. I got to meet two other guests staying there as well. I didn’t have a tv in my room but it gave me the opportunity to unplug from the world. I did log in using their high speed internet and it was the best of any location I stayed at in New Zealand. The shower was awesome as well! I took some pictures as I’m looking to update my shower at home as well. ...

Hosts Grace and Patrick will do everything to make your stay great, to start with serving generous and delicious breakfast (and dinner if you want as well). The B&B lies isolated in a beautiful area, the perfect place to relax without mobile phone coverage (wifi is available). Raglan is only a 30 min drive away. We will come back!”
