“Comfortable quiet ”

“La guest house è sita in un classico edificio inglese molto carino. Nei pressi vi sono molti locali ed è stato facile trovare parcheggio. Il proprietario è molto simpatico e cordiale. Colazione ottima, sia continentale che all'inglese. Fantastica l'idea dell'acquario nella finestra della sala colazione.”

“Small but very comfortable twin room with ensuite. Loved the big bath sheets. I would have added a second side table and perhaps a chair or luggage stand. Nice lounge/breakfast area, with plenty of fridges to store food/snacks. Comfortable couches and good sized TV. Very close to bus stop and only 10mins to Durham so we were able to just park the cars for the weekend. Hosts were very nice. ”

“Stayed for two nights three of us two rooms. We found everything very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly and explained everything that we needed to know. The breakfast was superb and cannot fault it. Lots of little extra touches like cake in our rooms. Everything was well stocked with fresh milk and water daily. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone and only 6 miles or so to Whitby. ”

“A really lovely quiet hotel, there arent many in the area. All very clean, lovely bedroom and superb breakfast with a friendly smile. Checkin was smooth and the lady was really friendly and showed me to my room and also served me a few well poured guinness later that evening. Thank you i will certainly stay again. They didn't serve an evening meal but plenty of options not too far away.”

“Brilliant place to stay as a family, very clean and lovely place to stay, location by a private farm in the sticks you’re surrounded by grass, views, water and horses it’s beautiful. Great size accommodation and with modern kitchen and bathroom making staying here great. Located close to mainly areas, Beamish, Newcastle, Durham etc. Can’t recommend this place enough a lovely cozy warm stay.”
