Hotel a Highwood

“Beautiful, well maintained historic hotel. Excellent food in the resteraunt. Lived it!”

“Overall the hotel is clean but very dated! We ended up with a room without a window so it felt slightly like a dungeon but for one night it was ok”

“The air conditioning system was not adequate to cool the room appropriately…. Spoke with the front desk staff and they were both very helpful… provided a box fan to help circulate the air…. Not the best experience when it’s 100 degrees outside.”

“nice facility. Last minute check in - and I'm not all about tech communication - but luckily the ladies were still "in the office" and able to get us all checked in. Never could figure out how to make the tv work - maybe info in the email that I was not able to receive while on the road. Otherwise very nice for the price!”

“"Breakfast" was not good, it was maybe half of a continental breakfast. The hallway smelled poorly, new carpet should be replaced.”

“Loved this place. Only issue was the number of homeless near there that were panhandling us each time we walked out. Not blaming that on property at all. As a matter of fact I think there were things done to help. (breakfast delivered to room rather than a buffet for example.)”

“The breakfast was amazing! We had to get going a little earlier than it opened, but the hostess was so accommodating. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The bathroom mostly could have been cleaner. Overall, a good night.”
