“The manager Bill was excellent- very on top of things! We were impressed with access to beach and that chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels were all included. The place could have been a little cleaner but nothing that we couldn’t fix by washing a few things. Would stay here again!”

Collocato in un bellissimo quartiere, sicuro tranquillo e ben tenuto a pochissime centinaia di metri da ristoranti e negozi. “We reached the hotel late and the reception was closed (they open from 8;30 to 17). They left us an open room that was not acceptable: dirty, old and noisy. There was a conditionair apparel very noisy that was not possible to manage and the fan was broken. We couldn't sleep all the night (the main reason why you usually need an hotel room...). “This was the second time we've stayed at the Surfsider. The first time was five years ago, in May 2021. Miss Sam took good care of us both times. Camilo & Cinnamon were very accommodating, too. Cinnamon even printed out a map to the Cuban restaurant we were trying out for the first time. This place is a hidden gem. My only complaint was the hot water in the second bathroom wasn't working when I showered but my husband was also showering in the master bath so that probably accounts for it. Other...

“We've been coming to this hotel for 17 years now...the remodeled rooms are nice, however, because there are no shower doors, it's SO hard to prevent water getting on the floor...I hope the hotel doesn't have to repair sooner because of this...everyday we needed a new bath mat & towels & to put down to make sure we got the least amount of water on floor... Could use more dresser space, and another mirror by balcony door...just hard to get 3-4 people ready w just that one mirror...(for the women...

“Dee Jay Beach resort is a great place to stay in Lauderdale by the Sea. Not only us it in a great location, our efficiency was comfortable and roomy. The owner was on site and attended to any needs we had. The backyard was a nice respite from the hectic travel and had a pool and lounge chairs to relax and rest. There was a shopping plaza a short distance away, which housed a super market, a diner, and so much more. A short drive, led us to a great area with lots of restaurants and shops. ...
