“I enjoyed the location but was disappointed that I was charged a parking fee. I did not park a vehicle on their property. I did not have a discussion about parking on check in. The charge appeared after check out. I tried to have it corrected and was not successful and a few dollars were taken off. I am not really sure how this is ethical or even legal.”

“Access to our room was difficult. There was a paved path from the parking lot to exterior wooden steps up to the outside door. It took several tries to get the keycard reader to work. Once inside, there was another flight of stairs to get to our floor. When we got to our room, the card key did not work. I hiked all the way back to the lobby with the card keys and told the young woman at the desk they were'nt working. After several minutes she gave me two keys which did work. But there was NO...

The walls, door facing, floors had not been cleaned. The carpet was filthy. The tub and shower walls were filthy. The staff was apologetic; but after scrubbing the tub and toilet to make a four-night stay bearable, I didn’t want the housekeeper in the room to do anything. “From check in to check out, The Sonesta is top tier! Their rooms are beautiful and clean. The bar is gorgeous and perfect for a drink. I especially loved the $15/day credit to use either at the bar, restaurant or cafe. The staff responds to any request quickly and efficiently.
