This is not a "smoke free" property. Your clothes will stink like the drugs from other guests. Despite the signage claiming the property is smoke free, the staff does not take this problem seriously.
For the past week, they let the guy below me smoke weed all night. It's so bad it wakes me up. I've even seen housekeeping on his floor while the hallway reeked of his smoke, and they didn't do anything! I called the front desk twice about him hot boxing my bathroom and they don't care. Beware if you have asthma or children or simply want a smoke-free accommodation.
Don't worry, the smoke alarms work and be ready for them to go off at 3 am because this is the hour smokers think they're being really sneaky!
Housekeeping does not deeply clean after smokers either. They just spray a ton of fragrance. They treat common areas like stairwells this way too so most of the hotel smells really bad.
