Hotel a Malua Bay

“Following the front desk recommendation ate at the excellent Chinese restaurant in the building. Afterwards enjoyed a relaxing walk along the beach front. The only disappointment was that the lift became non functional during our stay. Staff were very helpful though and carried our luggage down three floors on our departure day. The issue was actioned quickly by staff, but repairs were delayed while waiting for a replacement part. ”

“The Bower was the perfect getaway from the daily grind for a few days. The property was easy to find with ample instructions and maps. The accomodation itself is stunning! Each Bower is slightly different, we had the Gold Bower. We stayed for 3 nights which was perfect for a short trip. Inside the styling is minimalist yet cosy, it was just cool enough for us to have a fire - which was ready to go on the first night and enough timber stacked for our stay. “Excellent clean stay. Water is tank and bore- so to save time boiling water- take bottled with you. Food cafes/general store closes early- prepare early or take food in with you. View from water front cabins was gorgeous, but everything is very close to the waters edge. Beautiful location with Long Beach that you almost have to yourself and the lake for family friendly swimming, kayaking, fishing. “Clean, spacious, and modern room that was very comfortable for our stay. However, the property feels more like an upscale motel than a full-service hotel. There is a pool that looked clean and family-friendly, though fairly basic rather than resort-style. Check-in and check-out were fully self-service, which was convenient, but there were no visible staff onsite, so it lacked the service and atmosphere you’d typically expect from a hotel.”
