“Clean room, excellent staff, great breakfast!”

“We stayed at this hotel for night hault during a long trip. The hotel was very conveniently located on the highway and was well maintained. Room was clean. Coffee & juice was available at all times. The staff at the help desk was very polite and welcoming. Breakfast menu could have been better. Overall a good hotel. I would stay there again while travelling on the same route.”

“Very clean. Lovely natural cedar smell in the room that complimented the rustic mountain decor. There’s also a good deli and corner store right up the street that has fresh rotisserie chickens if they aren’t sold out. They are great deal and delicious. ”

“In an old mining town founded in 1793. So much history going back to the French and Indian wars, the American Revolution. This friendly clean and sweet hotel sits right next to the Youghiogheny River. Down a little road in this old town when you think this “can’t be right”…you find a very nice space, a restaurant next door also overlooking the river is a good place to catch football games and the beer and food is also good. At night we watched the wide river and moon over the hills of the old...

“I had quite a long stay and all was good. The hotel is not luxurious but it’s clean and the staff is GREAT. Always in a good mood and available. Would stay there again for sure. ”

“Had a wonderful stay here! The living room space was incredibly cozy. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, and we slept very well. Dan is a warm and friendly host, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. The kitchen facilities were excellent and fully equipped. We were able to cook two dinners there comfortably, and the self-serve breakfast was a nice touch. The location next to the river and railroad tracks. The surroundings are serene and relaxing. Would absolutely love to come back....

“Room was clean and cozy and warm with its personal fireplace. Offered a tremendous view of the lake and had a personal balcony. Staff was incredibly friendly and the owner could not have been more accommodating. Nothing went unattended or ignored. Best visit I’ve ever had to the area. Highly recommend!”

“After booking, Donna called me to confirm my stay and ask my arrival time. I appreciated it. It was a cold day with a temperature dropping to below 30 degrees. Taking bath in the big bathtub kept me warm all night even without heater. The heater was noisy when operating. Thus, it was good I took a warm bath and shut off the heater.”
