Hotel a North Wilkesboro

“Super nice staff. The hotel is old and in need of renovation to keep up with what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn Express (or their competition.) But that’s ok for a night or two. Really no complaints. It gets the job done and doesn’t smell bad. The rooms are just beat up, it’s old and dark as compared to other $150/night places.”

“There was a smell in the room that stuff could not do anything about neither give us another room. Good breakfast. Nice wine yards around.”

“Nicole was great greeting me and providing information. The breakfast was excellent. I rated good on the room due to there being a slight odor. Not sure if from smoking. The beds, however, were as comfortable as a much more expensive hotel. I had a great night sleep and that was most important.”

“There is no Quality in this Quality Inn. The pool has been "temporarily" closed since Sept. of 2025. Rug was very dirty. Breakfast was better at other places. Parking was nice it was right at the door. Too much late night traffic. Ice machine was broken had to walk to the next building to get ice Peeling paint in the bathroom. NO handicapped rooms available. Bedroom wall was scratched up, looks as if a dog did it.”

“This was my 2nd time staying there in 6 months. The staff is always friendly. Check in was easy. And the rooms are clean. No, issues. Unfortunately, the parent company has failed to invest in the property. The carpet, wallpaper and fixtures are over 50+ years old. There is a smell from age and the property is truly outdated.
