“Seems like it would be a nice enough place to stay with the family for a vacation getaway right on a lake. However, we were traveling across I-80 and just needed a place to stay overnight. This was a ways off the highway, so it required some extra driving to get there. The room was okay. It's an old motel that has been renovated but still seems a little tired.”

“Loved staying here: the only issue I had was they did not discuss the amount of the security deposit while checking in and automatically charged my card an extra $200. I feel communication on their end should have been better with that. The room was very nice but once we turned the AC on in the bedroom a bunch of black stuff shot out all over the bed. Def did not enjoy that. Maybe it just needed a good cleaning prior to use.”

“Average motel room, clean but old and small. Staff very friendly and always available to help but housekeeping is on demand only. We stayed for a week and have to go to front desk to ask for housekeeping to obtain clean towels and sundries every third day when we see nobody coming to make room. “The people were nice and helpful”

“There was no one else at the hotel in the huge parking lot. It was very run down. Too scary to stay as a single woman. I spoke w a police officer parked down from the hotel and he said don't stay there. Apparently, the hotel has been condemned. This needs to be removed from my charge.”

Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. (And I am a sucker for cheap motels) You can see evidence of its former glory. It seems kinda clean, but it is very run down. Whoever runs this place has done a number of shoddy repairs....

“Highly recommend! This was our second stay. We stayed in the winter and now during the spring. Make sure to book concierge and ask for a room facing the back of the property where you can watch the deer that come down to the feeders. During our first stay we used the courtesy shuttle to camelback where we enjoyed the slops. This visit we went ATVing and had an absolute blast.
