“We spent the weekend there. Our first visit. Longtime Blackpool visitors and decided we needed a change from our usual haunt of the past 20 years. A large north shore older hotel but the basement pool facility is now closed. Our 10 years old granddaughter likes a pool. Quite pleased with the Doric. “The room was clean and tidy but the plug socket for the kettle and t.v. was loose and not properly attached to the wall. Also, the two bedside wall lights didn't work at all and one was hanging from the wall showing the wire.”

“A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, overlooking the golf course. There's an indoor and outdoor swimming pool and a well equipped gym. Clean rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. (Just one gripe; there was only one biscuit provided... in a room for two? We stayed for two nights and on both days only one biscuit was provided...strange, but true). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.”
