“Wonderful house, spacious and comfortable with everything you need. Perfectly located for the shops and attractions. Would stay again”

“Excellent cottage, extremely clean and welcoming, lovely walks from the door.”

“Great location and lovely cottage. Very comfortable. It has been perfect for my needs. If I could suggest any improvement, it would be to change the upstairs bathroom matting as it’s looking discoloured and dirty. This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I will definitely be back ”

“Cottage in a beautiful area, cottage nestled in the heart of an unspoilt village. Cosy, well equipped, private and a perfect little bolthole.”

“Great location with great walks. Cottage was outstandingly clean and comfortable, the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Would definitely stop at this cottage again.”

“We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre.”

“The property was very comfortable and in a fantastic location for walking. It stayed cool during the very hot weather. The only problem was that we couldn’t get the car charger to work and this was one of our reasons for booking the property. There were no instructions for it.”

“Teilweise lag viel Staub auf dem Boden unter den Möbeln. Der Warmwasseraufbereiter macht beim Erwärmen morgens laute Geräusche. Wir sind davon aufgewacht. Die Badeinrichtung war schon älter und nicht mehr so schön. Nachts ging der Bewegungsmelder draußen an. Es schien Licht ins Schlafzimmer.”

“Comfortable, clean, spacious, sheep on the doorstep. Good location to start from.”

“What an amazing place. So tastefully decorated and charming with everything we needed for our 2 week stay. Beautiful renovated barn that was secluded enough for privacy yet close to the hiking trails. We loved hearing the roaster in the morning and our neighbours ‘the sheep’ were adorable. We will definitely be back!”
