“Pros - warm welcome (free drink), good communications, great location, cosy room and comfy bed, fantastic breakfast Cons - in busy times parking in square might be tricky, little bit of tlc needed (broken tiles, chips on corner of walls)”

“This was our 2nd stay. Staff friendly room was great. Rooms nice and warm on a cold December night looking out over market square. Staff great so honest I lost my ring and it was found in the room. I was so grateful the ring was so sentimental to me. I emailed the owner Jon and he replied straight away. I will definitely stay here again.”

“The Punchbowl Inn was a lovely pub to stay at, the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing. The room was lovely and had a fantastic view of the dales. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again.”
