Breakfast was a feast of locally produced sausages, bacon, eggs, black pudding and bread. I never eat black pudding but this was delicious so give it a try. Friendly owner was very helpful.”

Lovely clean single room (Room 5) with plenty of electrical sockets and very comfortable duvet and bed, great breakfast in the morning and friendly staff, what more can I say? Then curly wurly was a great idea instead of biscuits in the room. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. If I had to be picky it would have been nice to have a shower curtain or screen over the bath as using the shower head I tended to flood the floor, but the water was lovely and hot. and I would return again.”

We were celebrating a birthday and the birthday boy was given a balloon, beer and card, to make the event more special. The staff were friendly. The tasting menu was delicious and substantial.
