“Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. “Lovely clean room with a nice bathroom. Perfect for a short stay. Came with tea/coffee, a television and free WI-FI. No mini fridge. We didn't need one so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast was lovely with a choice of hot food and a continental breakfast. No road noise or unusual bumps in the night so had a wonderful, peaceful sleep. Useful parking at the rear of hotel and easy access to the town of Thirsk. Overall a lovely stay. Lovely staff. Lovely food and a lovely part of the world. ”

“Il pub é bello e la struttura pulita.e ordinata. Si percepisce amore e cura. Il cibo é ottimo l, in particolare il Sunday roast. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibili, oltre che sorridenti e simpatici. Per le nostre abitudini il letto della stanza in cui eravamo era un po' piccolo ma comodo. Le dimensioni della stanza piuttosto ridotte ma c'è tutto quello che serve. Ottima dotazione di asciugamani e cuscini. ”

“I felt comfortable soon has i walked in staff where lovely, the only thing was they had a power cut for 12 hours and it was pitch black in the bedroom i know its not there fault but i have a walking disability which i try to keep to my self. But other than that i have had a fantastic stay.”
