“The rooms were not very clean. There was a towel hanging behind the door when we arrived in our room , which we assume had been used as it was damp to the touch. There was a musty smell in the room. The breakfast was severely lacking. The front desk staff was helpful when we requested additional things. The room had conditioner and lotion, but no shampoo.”

“Very nice and clean property over all. Staff attentive and helpful to some concerns that I had. Breakfast had decent choices in food variety. Parking was tight a couple of evenings but we did get a spot. Just wished price per night was lower especially since I have IHG membership and retired!”

“This is a cool old southern house. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with. We were visiting a relative that lives in town and this was close by and just as affordable as the motels in town. We had the bridal suite, which was spacious. There were 2 things that could be improved upon, but are minor issues. 1: Shower water pressure was low 2: The door to the room stuck very hard and you made a bunch of noise trying to open or close it, Luckily there were no other guests in the house...

“Arrived at 11:30 pm after a long drive. Was checked in by the nice lady at the desk, and we went to our room. We heard another customer complaining about bed bugs so we went to investigate our room. No bugs but we found yellow stains and hair on the sheets, filthy walls and stained pillows and comforters. The room smelled like smoke and my son has asthma so there was no way we were staying. We returned to the desk and waited but the lady was helping the bedbug room and no one was at the desk....
