“Things were all older and dated, but everything was clean. Bedsheets were so old they were nubby. Bathroom was fine with very soft water. Included breakfast was marginal, with pop tarts and weak coffee. It was interesting having a busy bar in the midst of the building, adding character. It is also a gathering place for both Harley bikers and golfers for the adjacent course; quite a contrast. It's the only place around, so if we go to another concert in Mt.Carroll, we'll probably stay again.”

“Needs updating. The rooms rug was torn, couldn’t use the TV. Couldn’t even watch the morning news. The air conditioner was loud and couldn’t find a switch or way to turn on lights by the nightstand.”

“Booked a deluxe room with 2 queen beds and was upgraded to a suite with a sofa bed, that the mattress was not comfortable. The room was not stocked with enough wash clothes for 3 adults, no soap or shampoo. No safe in the room either and for a casino hotel there should be a safe in the rooms.”
