Hotel a Sabula

“This was our second time staying here...a year ago and this time. The hotel bar was fun with our group of friends we stayed with! The staff was friendly and accommodating! The drinks were good! The breakfast was VERY limited, so our group of 10 went to a restaurant for breakfast!”

“Got static about me canceling the 2nd due to a family emergency over 2 hours away and he wasn't happy about it even tho I bought the last minute cancellation policy for both nights, I just gave up…”

“As a non- smoker, the entire facility reeked of cigarettes, even though only the Casino was "smoking ". The hallways smelled when you came in the side door from the parking lot. Our "non-smoking " room smelled and if you woke in the night, you were aware of the smell. Otherwise, the room was clean and modern. Except for the overused large upholstered chair that was dirty.”

“The location is great and parking is easy. Lobby was clean and front desk staff very friendly. There was a roped off area in front of the main entrance door and the elevator was broken. The room has been updated, but isn't the cleanest. The main hall carpet is really run down. Our toilet srst was really loose. I am thankful there is a hotel in the area, but the pricing seemed high for one night with the quality/cleanliness of the room. The breakfast is a nice bonus, but we ate out with family...

“Rooms have an older look to them, but well kept. I’d say my only criticism of the room was the showerheads in the bathroom. Definitely seen years of the hard water, suggest getting some new ones, nothin’ fancy. They were still functional nonetheless.”

“We did not know that they didn't clean rooms if you were staying more that one night. And they didn't replace towels. Got back to motel around 9pm called for towels and was told I needed to bring the dirty towels to front desk and they would give me fesh towels. Maybe short staffed, but they should have let us know. Staff was friendly.”

“We chose this place as a last minute one night stay. That being the case it was OK. It had almost equal points on the OK and Good side. On the good side, our room looked to be recently renovated. The paint, fixtures, bed, etc all seemed to have been done recently. There were however a few things that were missing, There was an ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer though it was mentioned as an amenity, and a light bulb was missing from the vanity light fixture. “Beautiful scenery, to include a fawn visit during a birthday celebration. We walked, five minutes, to the Main Street. Spacious bathrooms. Ideal breakfast outside with nature. Perfect lounging spot.”

“The room needs attention, the fan in the bathroom was loud, the door handle for the deck was loose, and the deck boards were rotten.”
