“Wonderful, quaint family owned hotel. Everything you need with the kindest staff. We checked in late night- be sure to mention it to the staff and they helped us with so many details in our short stay. Our only hesitation was a concern that after reading some reviews the hotel might be further from the main downtown area in Zermatt- psssh, perfect location just a short walk (and thats from a suburbanite american) from everything. “Amazing hotel! From being welcomed after 30 hours of travel with a glass of white wine, to the friendly breakfast staff, to helping me cobble together a nourishing dinner after a relaxing spa service…the staff at this hotel truly set it apart! And the rooms! I slept with all the windows and the patio door open just gazing at the Matterhorn until I fell asleep. And the spa! Really a wonderful steam room, sauna, and pool.
