“I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Doors banging all night. Breakfast was a joke. Bagels, muffins or bread. The juice dispenser was out of order. Was supposed to stay three nights. Checked out after first night. Front desk could barely speak English. There were two cop cars in front of the hotel in the morning. Room smelled of smoke. Was supposed to be non smoking.”

“The Stockade is a charming hotel with spacious comfortable rooms and a great location in historic Schenectady. The staff was very helpful and there was a delightful coffee and pastry shop in the building.”

“Roomy, comfortable place to spend the night. It’s a converted space, attached to the rear of the owners house. Tesla charger less than 3 miles away, and quick to interstate. No trouble with food close by (though the local diner on the corner—easy walk— was closed when I was there). Otherwise, very nice layover on your roadtrip.”
