Hotel a Shinglehouse

“Breakfast was very good. Room had a strange smell,but was pretty clean and area was relatively quiet.”

“Room smelled a little like animal urine, other than that no complaints, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly, property well kept. ”

“This facility is definitely not worthy of their 6.8 rating. The first room we were given was more like a dungeon. We asked for a renovated room and were moved to one. Unfortunately we didn’t have any hot water. After much discussion, we decided to leave and go elsewhere. We were charged for one night and refunded for the other nights. This is an older roadside hotel that needs much love. (Read between the lines.)”

“Inn is beautiful and historic. Inn and all rooms were clean, nicely decorated with natural and historic scenes. The bathroom was spacious with soft and plush towels. Dining area lovely with long wooden table. Chef was very nice and her breakfast was excellent and tastefully laid out. Hope to return for a longer stay in the future.”

“Parking lot def needs some work but the rooms were clean and when we could get ahold of staff they wete nice. Could not find any staff at check out. Overall this really suited what we needed for vacay”

“The Bed & Breakfast was in an old Victorian home in a very nice town. The other visitors who had already checked in helped us find where our key and where our room was. The interior was beautiful and it was fun to walk around and see the home. The biggest issue we had was that this bed & breakfast only provided breakfast on the weekend. We stayed on a Wednesday. That would have been nice to know before we booked. There were small boxes of cold cereal and pop tarts in the kitchen...so I guess...

“I never write reviews, however, my experience has compelled me to do so. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Bradford for a week while I traveled for school and I was extremely impressed by the kindness and service. I’ve been to many hotels over the last few years and typically, my room was cleaned every two days (if I was lucky). However, I took notice that my room was cleaned every two days and touched up in-between. I was so grateful to come back to a clean room after a busy and trying...

“The rooms were not terrible, but it wasn't as clean as it should be. The dresser was broken and would not close”

“The room looked like it had just been updated. I liked the fact that they had walk-in showers instead of tubs. The air conditioner worked well and was quiet. And I liked the full-sized pillows rather than the smaller ones other places have gone to recently. Negatives: Minor. A bigger parking lot would help as well as a bit more shelf space in the bathroom.”
