“We celebrated my parents' 80th birthdays with a family reunion - 8 adults and 2 children 1 dog. The house was ENORMOUS and easily accommodated our party with nice private areas for everyone. The kitchen is very well equipped with the best pans I've seen in a VRBO. The whole house has filtered water, so even the ice was delicious. Two ice cube makers really came in handy! AC in the upstairs bedrooms was greatly appreciated. The main floor was very warm (temps in mid-upper 80s) but nice...

“The house was in a good location, clean and well equipped, including the kitchen which made making meals very convenient. The back porch and patio were wonderful and where we spent most of our time watching the birds, butterflies, deer and watching the eagles in the creek. At night, the fire pit was great while we gazed at the stars listening to the bullfrogs in the pond. There were many aspects to enjoy at this property. “Barr Top Lodge was the perfect place for our family of 7 to stay. The amenities were exactly what we needed for a relaxing weekend. The kids sure did enjoy the pool table. I was slightly disappointed with the cleanliness, but i know that can be difficult being in the woods.”

“We spent a long weekend venturing around the area and staying at this lovely property! I was surprised when pulling up that neighboring houses were not too far away but there was not much going on around us or noise to be heard. The property was large, the water close by (but not dangerously so,) and the space was gorgeous and relaxing. It was a perfect place for our family with young kiddos (ages 6-8) Exactly as described and as the pictures show! ”
