“The mansion was beautiful and decorated Victorian style. Our room had its own A/C unit and attached bathroom with shower and spa tub. Breakfast was a delicious combo of cold buffet and personally served hot ham and egg sandwich. The owner is a great host and happy to tell the history of the house and area. Located in downtown Dubuque and walking distance to restaurants. ”

It is a short drive to downtown Galena, but get downtown early as parking is hard to find. My only issue with my stay is the bed is too soft for me. ”

“This was an absolutely fantastic place to stay. I had a friend's wedding in the area and being one of the further away guests travel expenses were already adding up fast. most of the hotels in the area for the time I needed to be there were a bit over my budget. Digging around a bit more, I found the belle Aire mansion guest house just down the road from one of the suggested hotels. It looked like a neat place, and the price was WAYYY more fair than the surrounding options I could find.
