“We like to stay at this hotel when we are in Galena for skiing. It is only 20 minutes to the ski mountain. The continental breakfast and the pool and slide area are a bonus. Price can’t be beat. The room is clean and the staff is friendly. ”

“Check in smooth. Staff is friendly, Only problem was the hallway to casino closed. They did have a shuttle for the 2 block walk. Temperature outside was very cold so we used the shuttle.”

“Convenient downtown location. Easy check in with super friendly staff! The king room was spacious and the bed was so comfy!! Free coffee in the lobby, bar and restaurant on site. Completely walkable to all the great restaurants and bars in downtown Dubuque. Great local shopping as well. ”

“The best part of this resort honestly wasn’t the waterpark — it was the kids’ room. Brad, who runs it, brings such a thoughtful and intentional approach to what he does. He wasn’t just supervising; he was truly engaging with families. Most days he ran the kids’ room from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and even helped each family create keepsakes from their trip, which was such a special touch. Every night we were there, he hosted a skee-ball competition right in the game room for both kids and adults, which...

“A great stay! Newly renovated bathroom and clean room, though the bedroom could use some upkeep. Very close to Main Street, can walk everywhere and leave the car.”

“Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. ”

“What an absolute amazing stay at this beautiful Resort. We stayed during a snow storm and there is no better place be. It was warm, peaceful , clean and very relaxing and romantic Alfredo and Romona were very kind and hospitable. The fire place was a lovely touch and the hot tub inside was very romantic . I was also impressed with the water heater as the tub didn’t run out of hot water and it was the perfect temperature . The beds were so comfy, we slept very well. We will def be visiting...
