“The place was absolutely charming, it is off grid but you wouldn’t really know. It’s got great beach access and loads of great food options around. Secret beach is just down the path and it is the best beach in the island. Jaime is the chef on the property and his food is to die for! Kayla is also very attentive and they both made our stay comfortable. It’s a very boutique hotel experience, not many rooms on the property so you feel like it’s a very personalized experience.”

“You’re greeted at the door with a welcome drink and a run down of the property and of the neighbourhood. If there was a way to give 50/5 stars to the staff then I would. Laundry services, the cleaning staff, the genuine care for the property, and the local knowledge shared with us went a long way. The rooms, the facilities, and the property were immaculate. “Aruna Resort & Villas is a beautiful place to stay if you’re visiting San Pedro. Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating and cater to your every wish from the front office of Rose and Suzy, to the wait staff and boat captains. We never waited more than 10 minutes for the boat to come and pick us up to take us to San Pedro or back to the resort. The resort is beautifully landscaped. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the views are wonderful. Truly a vacation to remember. ”

“Check in was a little weird because I booked through Expedia and it’s almost as if the hotel had an option to honor the price I reserved the room for. It was a $200 dollar difference but the booking price was honored. The room was clean all except the fridge that had mold in it. We called to have it replaced and received an immediate response. They weren’t able to remove it but it was cleaned thoroughly. The restaurant was nice and room service was great. Food and drinks were good.”
