“The rooms were clean and so quaint, very roomy, nice hot showers, and the fireplace/heater worked great! The staff were each do delightful & friendly. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious!! Definitely worth the stay. Thank you for the complimentary popcorn/drinks/tea. We had an amazing stay ”

“The room was clean, the staff was friendly and we had a full kitchen. The fireplaces in each room worked so well that we didn’t have to turn on a heater. We were truly impressed with the layout of the unit. We will definitely speak about our travels to whomever wishes to stay in Big Bear. ”

“Breakfast and staff were great, however, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard and would make noises anytime you would move around on the bed, to the point where it felt like the bed was going to break at any given moment. The structure of the bed felt unsafe.”

“First off, this property is in transition from an old hotel to an updated one. We saw painting in progress. The lobby has a great vintage vibe as was the design of the microwave and fridge in our room. Our overall experience was not great though. Our room shared a wall with another and we heard them and their t v into the early morning hours. The shower was clean but took TEN minutes to get hot. Two towels and one washcloth was provided for a two night stay. The bed was a other issue and...

“I booked a stay just for 1 night and confirmed everything. Got the receipt, cabin number, door code. Etc, early the day of the check in. Drove up there to find out that they double booked our stay and could not accommodate us. We drove 2 hours with 2 babies with us to find out that we can’t stay to a cabin that we wanted. I still appreciated the offers of atleast getting us alternative stay to their property or other properties, but it’s just really inconvenient and waste of time not having what...

“No informayion about the property, amenities or how the heater/ac worked was provided. The hotel looked old and unmaintenance by a professional. It looked like an untrained contrator did repairs yo the room. Never staying there again.”

“Old motel. Dated but I knew that when I made reservations. Needed help to get the heater and the TV going but they sent someone right away and then no further issues with them after that. Nice location. Good for a one night stay. Pool was heated which was a nice surprise for this early in the season.”

“Hello. the location is ideal in Big Bear. My room was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. They were professional and courteous. A couple of maintenance items that could use improvement. The hot tub was not hot. There was a smell of gas leak in the stairwell next to the front lobby. The upstairs third floor bedrooms were very hot at 85 degrees. The hallways upstairs were also very hot. We opened the windows to get some breeze to ease the heat. These appear to be all fixable...

“Everything was fine,my kids really enjoyed the playground the only thing that was bothering me was the fridge not working properly my drinks and milk were warm. The cabin was clean and it had everything we needed to make a meal. My family wants to go back next year.”
