Hotel vicino a Stars and Stripes Drive-In Theatre - Lubbock

“This is a clean, well maintained property. It is close to plenty of places to eat. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure.”

“Staff was difficult time find at the front desk when checking in. Waited for 15 minutes with two other groups. I had to search and knock on doors and finally found someone in the laundry room. Similarly hard to find front desk one evening while three groups waited. Pool was filthy, bird poop all over the patio, and near windows. Food spills, unkept areas with spill stains that needed to be mopped where small attention to details would change it. Elevator floor was stained with spills bottoms...

“The room smelled smoky. The noise was too much at night. Could hear everything, people just walking and speaking normally - not even loudly. The AC was very loud too as it turned off and on. Breakfast was horrible. Hash browns were really underheated. Cold to the touch. Coffee seemed old it had bad taste. The biscuits were tough. Eggs were tasteless. They could have used a little salt or pepper.”

“Beds were comfortable and A/C was cold. Very clean and accommodating.”

“The breakfast had the usual offerings. The room was clean with LV flooring. Much more sanitary than carpeting. The AC kept us cool. The hallway was quiet. They accept pets which is a big plus for us. We always stay at this hotel when coming to Lubbock.”

“Parking lot is lit up like a Friday night lights which is good because the parking lot had some sketchy folks. The hotel did not have drinking water because the vending machine was empty. The shower has no door or curtain so water accumulated on the floor. ”

“The only problem is the hotel is old and dated. Staff is very friendly, breakfast was excellent (real food and made to order eggs), and beds were comfortable. Hotel just needs an upgrade. ”

“- Clean modern rooms and shared areas - Great proximity to Texas Tech University - a walking distance - Great vibes in the hotel restaurant area all day What could improve - gym was unclean - pool area look too standard for such a modern hotel - confusing checkout time - time on the door said 12pm but they forced me out at 11am”

“Room was dirty, window A/C unit was hanging half off, room smelt like cigarettes, and the ICE machine was out of order. Also it was stated online the pool was open and the lady at the front desk said it was closed. Come to find out they didnt want anybody in it because they just cleaned it.”

“This property is a gem for sure. The suite was a good size with separate living, bathroom and bedroom areas. Very nice stay and comfortable bed! There is no on site staff, they text you the room code. That was nice too.”

“Nice hotel but needs some maintenance. Lift not working from 1st floor . Washing machine broken, no soap or dryers in public toilets. Staff were nice and room was clean ”

“Water pressure in sink was abysmal, parking if not valet subjects you to park at a parking garage down the street only in the 3rd or 4th floor which at night feels sketchy. Room has fridge chock full of drinks both alcoholic and non but watch the price lol…lastly a small trash can by the toilet is all the room offers for waste so be mindful of to go food oh, and no microwave in the room. ”
