“Room was clean and staff was very friendly. I called the motel before arrival regarding delayed check in and Ron was very understanding and accommodated all our requests. Great place to stay!”

“We really enjoyed all the renovations to this location— so happy that someone has finally invested in sprucing up accommodations in the UP. Every year we come through this area and have always had to put up with dumpy accommodations because there is nothing nice to pick from. So BRAVO to the Manistique Sands!”

“Plenty of space for our party of four, in the 2 bdrm suite. Yes, this place is old and there are signs of that. For example, the 1970s GE Cooking center…functional except the microwave. There was another microwave in the unit though. The carpet looked newer as did the couch. Nice spacious shower. Comfy beds. 3 square small pillows on the beds was not comfy as I prefer 2 rectangle pillow. My hubby and I fought over the third pillow. White blinds don’t do much to darken the rooms. “Nice place to stay for a night”

“Struttura trasandata con camera e bagno molto stretti, la doccia era mal funzionante. Letto comodo, pulizia discreta. Angolo cottura utile ma senza alcuna stoviglia. Per il prezzo pagato ci aspettavamo qualcosa di meglio. Per il check in ci siamo rivolti al grocery di fronte(che fortunatamente era il posto giusto) visto che non abbiamo ricevuto info pur inviando messaggio e telefonando come indicato su hotels.com”

“Clean rooms and helpful staff. Just good all around for a night’s stay.”

“I stayed in the apt style room and had a hard time sleeping as I could hear the people upstairs with every step they took and even if their tv was on. I wouldn’t stay again in the unit unless I had kids with me that don’t sleep well anyway. Besides that, the bed was comfortable, linens and cupboards fully stocked, and very spacious with easy parking and great location in Munising.”

“Staff so helpful and accommodating! Breakfast great! It was just what we needed! Also, I accidentally did not book the correct number of nights and they worked quickly with me to help fund a great solution! I’m so grateful for their help and flexibility!”

“The hotel needs an uplift”

“Great position. The bedrooms in the same suitroom was great for me and my son. The included breakfast is standing (no tables) and pretty poor. Rather old structure but clean”

“Room was clean and spacious. WiFi workwd sporadically had to be set up outside the room. Location of hotel is in proximity to waterfalls. Breakfast area is very small crowded and inadequate for the amount of people at any time of the breakfast time”

“Everything was great”

“The place was nice, the check in was easy. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that there was a weird smell upon entering the cabin and also one of the complimentary bottles of soap seemed opened and re used. Lastly there was like 3 flies just chillin inside on the large living area window. Other than that I do appreciate the cabins, they're cute and cozy I do wish they let people smoke out on the porch chairs provided. The rooms where clean so ill give them that for sure.”
