“⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) Overall, our stay at the Country Inn & Suites in Dubuque was decent. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet, and the location was convenient, with two great restaurants within walking distance. There were a few maintenance issues that should be addressed. The door handle to our room was extremely difficult to open, which raised a safety concern. In the event of an emergency, getting out of the room quickly could have been a problem. “First of all in the elevator there is a hand written sign that says" When you get to your desired floor HOLD the door open button so the door will open". Then the elevator doesn't stop even with the floor and my first step out was face first on the floor as the elevator stopped about 3 inches above the floor. “The beds really weren’t that comfortable and the fire alarm started going off at 8am when a kid pulled the alarm and the staff couldn’t figure out how to get it shut off right according to The front desk. The shower head leaked bad causing horrible water pressure”

“I've stayed here a handful of times now when I come into town for business. It used to be really clean and very nice, but over the past few years its gone downhill a little bit. Its still pretty clean, but needs to be updated and is not as nice as it used to be overall.”
