“Potts Point is a great area to base yourselves in in Sydney and Spicers is a great "hotel" - actually, that's too impersonal, it feels more like a home away from home. The reception staff are interested and attentive, our room (No.8) was well provisioned and superclean, we were in walking distance of interesting local shops and restaurants, and a short Uber to the CBD. Thoroughly recommend.”

“it is not a 5 star hotel, probably deserves 3 great that it has access to a commercial gym next door bed and bathroom were ok, rest is not worth it breakfast is boring and poor quality and choice, not worth the extra fee at all sounds insulation is poor, I could hear near by rooms talking to each other daily hotel room cleaning does not including hoovering and wiping surfaces and they placed used glasses back in their place without cleaning them”

“It was my first visit to The Porter House and I was generally happy with my stay. I had asked for a room on a higher floor and away from the elevator, which they were able to accommodate. It was a lovely touch to see my name displayed on the TV when we entered the room, and a bottle of wine and a hand-written card. It's the little things that made the stay enjoyable. The check-in staff were also very lovely and helpful. I really appreciated them. Rooms: Spacious enough for 2 people. The bed...
