“Such a great smaller hotel with a cosy feel. They have obviously thought abut there customers and the staff were great. room very clean with a comfy bed. grounds were really well looked after and I'm sure in the summer months it would be a beautiful place to sit out & have dinner or some drinks. I really enjoyed the food. Dinner was very good and the breakfast was excellent. I will definitely be staying again if travelling close by. ”

“Lovely staff. Clean room. Good food. Great location. Breakfast was fab. Fish and chips in Dukes next door (part of the hotel chain)was amazing. But the bedroom was so hot. No radiator or towel rail were on but the room was like a sauna. Slept on top of bed with window wide open but very hot all night!”

“Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is within close distance to the Rail Station, Cricket Stadium & Town Centre. Staff were great & very helpful. Bedroom was large & comfortable & despite being near the road was fairly quiet. Bathroom needed updating but was large. For the price I paid, the room comfort, staff & location I would say this hotel is perfect & will definitely be staying again.”

“Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.”

“From the moment we arrived we instantly appreciated our surroundings. The Manor House is tastefully decorated, clean and very welcoming. The staff were lovely and nothing too much trouble for them. Breakfast was excellent with a good amount of choices. Unfortunately we had only booked in for one night but made the most of the fabulous views and wallowed in the peace and quiet. Absolute heaven. We have made a promise to ourselves to return for a longer stay.”
