“We loved our stay at La Villa Retreat! Everything from the way we were greeted with a wine tasting our first night, to the beautiful grounds, to our well appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts made it a great stay. One cool night we requested that the staff light the fire in our fireplace so it would be warm when we returned. Returning after dinner to a room lit by the fireplace was just delightful. If it wasn't so far away, we'd happily return often for a couple's getaway!”

“Albergo molto confortevole, piacevole e curato nel dettaglio. Il proprietario molto carino e anche il personale super disponibile. La stanza spaziosa, accogliente, con un letto grande e comodissimo, bagno pulito e grande doccia. Un posto antico, ristrutturato al meglio dentro come anche fuori. Anche la colazione su ordinazione, abbondante e buona. L’albergo si trova inoltre vicinissimo al centro del paese, tutto facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, supermercati, ristoranti. “The staff at this hotel are amazing. Very helpful and really friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The room we had was beautiful and always clean. We had a turndown each night with a little surprise that was left for us like chocolate, hot chocolate etc. This is a must hotel if you are staying in Franschhoek. Great location also.”
