“This was an amazing place to stay! The staff were friendly, the beds were very comfortable and the shower was great! All in all we could not fault our experience. It was very central to all our needs. We would definitely stay here again. ❤️”

“Reception staff were very welcoming, friendly and most importantly their smiles seemed genuine. Instructions for the basement car parking was made very clear. Note to management: give the girls a nicer uniform, make it modern and get rid of the grey colour. The girls smiles made up for the dull uniform. The first room I was allocated, was clean but the bathroom door was not hung well. This created a wide gap between the wall and door whereby personal privacy in the bathroo was an issue....

“The house had an overall grimy dirty feel to it. Cobwebs and spiders in the corners of windows etc. lots of flies. Messy lawn and rubbish outside. House served its purpose in terms of giving us all a bed to sleep in but that’s about it. Shower head was broken. No top sheets on beds. Overall pretty gross.”

“Traditional place very cool for friends to bond no tv which is awesome basic utilities not fancy perfect for a group of people”

“The check-in was smooth and overall our stay was very comfortable. Loved that we were in the heart of Ponsonby with many shops, restaurants, bars, and a supermarket all in walking distance. The staff allowed us to keep our car in the parking lot for an hour after checking out while we visited our son nearby, very much appreciated thank you again!! We will definitely be back 😀🙏”

“Cooking amenities lacking. Only 2 frying pans and 1 very small pot. One pan you could not use . It was so scratched that it was unsafe to cook in. Teatowel had holes in it. Fridge had last guests food still in it. Had to buy pegs to hang laundry. Washing machine on button was broken, thankfully they had another machine next to it. Rubbish bins were full. We were staying 5 nights with a family of 3 adults children so had to put rubbish in recycling bins. Lawns were very overgrown. Covers on...

“System for obtaining key and using Wi-Fi was OK but the room was more than basic. Blinds broken, bed uncomfortable, freezer compartment in fridge needs serious defrosting. Shower door broken, Parking area extremely narrow. ”

“The room was clean, spacious, and had excellent kitchen facilities, enough to have simple meals - a microwave, fridge, jug etc. It was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful. Close to Ponsonby Road. Excellent!”
