Cottage a Wicklow

“The most impressed I've been with a hotel in years. Breakfast was unique .....a cold plate in the room, fresh yoghurt and granola, higher end Nespresso machine, milk, tea etc on hand. At 7 in the morning, they hang a bag of fresh croissants and pan au chocolate on the door......so you can eat breakfast when you want. Very nice. Staff were great and the hotel is in like new condition with top end fittings and bedding. Lovely”

“All of the staff was friendly and made us feel very welcome, like we were part of their community. The room and grounds were clean & comfortable, the food was delicious, the bar was well stocked, and we would stay here again if we ever return to Ashford!”

“I don't know how this place got the good reviews it's got. Il start with the positives being generous. The sheets were clean, the room was big. That's where my generosity stops. The gentleman "welcoming" us really wasn't a people person. Made it clear he knew about the sticking door to the patio. The door did eventually lock from inside but it was so hard we unlocked it just to make sure we could get out in the morning. The shower was old and mouldy, the clamp to hold the shower head was cracked...
