“This lovely hotel, with older charm and character, is perfectly located to walking and hiking trails, and a 2 minute stroll to the monastic ruins. Our room was comfortable, spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The tub/shower was a bit of a high step, but grab bar was perfect help. Breakfast in the morning was buffet-style with good variety. I wish we had time to stay longer than just overnight.”

“Although the rooms were nice and spacious, as an older couple it was difficult for us with the bar Party going in until 2:30 am. They were gracious to give us earplugs. The young folks really love it. It’s directly across from the beach. A train comes into Bray, so if you know how to use trains you could probably come there from the airport by train.”

“The spa was marvelous. My husband and I spent nearly 2 hours moving from steam room, to pool, to sauna, to pool, to hot tub, to heated lounge chairs. Complementary robes and non-slip shoes. Absolutely peaceful and relaxing. Just what we both needed after a fast-paced week exploring Ireland. We also dined at their on-site Italian restaurant La Taverna Armento. “The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)”
