“I arrived early because I hadn't read the small print that one couldn't check in until 5pm. I didn't feel welcome so I went away and sat in my car until it was 5pm. My room was freezing. The bathroom was too cold to contemplate having anything but a very short use of the loo. The furniture was creaky old as opposed to vintage chic. “Ideal location for visiting family and have stayed before in the past. I guess the hotel has had a change of ownership as before I was met at reception for checking in but this is no longer the case as the check in details are sent via WhatsApp but unfortunately they didn't send them until after I tracked down some staff in the restaurant to check in.
