Guest house a Workington

“Fellpack House has been a standout on our holiday so far. The room was really nice. The staff were super efficient and helpful. The breakfast was yummy. We really enjoyed sitting in the lounge looking out at the trees and mountains having a few glasses of wine after a long day exploring.”

“Lovely bed and breakfast in Keswick; close to restaurants. Parking is difficult on weekends.”

“We loved the huge room, lovely sofas, great kitchen with microwave, fridge, kettle, crockery, cutlery, etc. The castle and grounds were beautiful, the owls adorable and the games fun. Fantastic stay - highly recommended.”

“The toilet was very small which was difficult for us but otherwise everything was good. Breakfast was delicious and the room was perfectly clean.”

“Excellent room; responsive staff is committed to service. Use driveway to the LEFT (downhill) of the house. Parking can be tricky in small lot, but help is available. Phone is needed for initial entry if staff is off-site (room key is in lock box and a phone call provides the code). I had a very happy and comfortable stay.”

“Host was absolutely brilliant, nothing too much bother. Has a small kitchen to use. We were on motorbikes and the host was helpful in getting our gear dried as much as possible!”

“Nice place nice location all good.”

“The suite was great. Two decent sized rooms. Very friendly and helpful people”

“The fell rooms was an absolutely stunning place to stay in Ambleside. The rooms were incredible, so clean and well thought out. The little extras such as biscuits, a fan in the room and heated towel rails made such a positive difference in our experience. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we really enjoyed our stay here.”

“Pros - good location. Short walk into town. Room clean, modern & spacious. Self check in with good clear instruction prior to arrival. Cons - Car park full so had to pay for parking on car park next door. No plates at breakfast only cardboard dishes which made it difficult to butter toast as the bread wouldn't fit in the dish. Would definately stay here again though & just maybe arrive earlier to get a parking space.”
