“We had 2 couples, and we loved the bungalow. It was perfect for the access to the beach, the open floor plan, and access to the rest of the island. We rented a golf cart, which was a fun way to explore Captiva. We also rented bikes with the easy access to the bike trails. We pushed the twin beds together and used it for one of the couples. Great house and location. Very quick communication from the property owner. ”

“My wife and I spent a week at Surfcomber with her parents and enjoyed a 100% experience. House is large and beautiful, set well back from the road on a huge lot. Pool area is nicer than most resorts I've seen. It's a short walk to the beach for the great sunsets. Of all the vacation home rentals we've enjoyed, Surfcomber has, by far, the best equipped kitchen. Tons of space, beautiful landscaping, I could go on and on, but you should just see for yourself You won't be disappointed.”

“Great house, great location (dock in back, beach access across street) and nice pool. This is not a luxury rental so you can feel comfortable with kids stretching out and not being monitored constantly which is nice. Everything you need, close to bars/restaurants. I wish they let renters use kayaks, that was a bummer but all sorts of other beach equipment in good condition and accessible. Management is very responsive and no issues at all with check-in/check-out.”

“We visited Hakuna Matata June 21-28, 2025. There were 6 adults and 5 children in our party. The house was a perfect fit for our family. The location was ideal for us as we brought 2 flats boats and were able to secure them to the dock. The dock has power and water. "Camera essenziale in un contesto di residence con piccola piscina. La camera era rumorosa ma essenziale. Sgarbato il personale del bar del complesso. Non si fanno capire e pretendono la mancia senza però corrispondere un servizio soddisfacente e soprattutto cortese. È vicino al mare per cui 5 minuti e si in acqua. Ristoranti pochi e male assortiti. C'è di meglio."
