The staff and mgmt were friendly and helpful (eg, they gave me a room close to the reception check-in, they provided transport to the train station when no other option was available). The problem is while the crew might be good they need to run a tighter ship, The property is showing its age, it’s up the hill from the town and is oriented to large groups. As a solo, shoulder season guest, we, the few, are lost in the cracks of pre-season prep. "

"After weeks of researching places all over Puglia, I chose this property for the spaciousness outdoors with a closeup view of the sea. Maria and Alfie were dedicated hosts to make certain I had an enjoyable stay. I discovered about 15 species of birds on my Merlin app. I even spotted the Hoopoe bird long enough to identify it. I found flying into Bari totally doable for my flight in and out of Gagliano de Capo. There are many touristy things to do, yet I’d likely skip those things in favor of staying on the property and visiting the many incredibly gorgeous azure beaches. The color of the sea in this area is beyond my experience . The house is small yet comfortable, especially the bed and special pillows which made for great sleeping. I easily managed without a washing machine. I believe the outdoor area was even more expansive and beautiful than the photos portrayed. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to return."

"Book immediately! This place was magical; the staff, the food, the pool-it all exceeded our expectations. The staff gave us great recommendations for sight seeing, and led us to places we otherwise would not have visited. The dinner blew us away, every taste was rich with flavor. Stefano made our dining experience remarkable with his professionalism and conversation. The owners of this hotel were always around which made the experience feel so down to earth and authentic, their yellow labrador retriever also roams the ground. The free daily breakfast buffet was so good, the quality of food was 5 star. We will be back!"

"Abbiamo soggiornato in 2 famiglie con 4 bambini. Il posto è meraviglioso, era presente tutto il necessario, dagli asciugamani alle lenzuola e tutto è stato preparato con cura per il nostro arrivo. La signora Desirée è stata inoltre molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha consigliato diverse cose da vedere, spiagge e ristoranti. Vicino alla casa è presente una spiaggetta bellissima, molto più tranquilla delle spiagge più note, in cui ci è piaciuto molto praticare snorkeling. Siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti della nostra vacanza pugliese!"
