"The apartment is in a great central location - on a piazza with a couple of cafe's outside and above a bistro. Easy access to all the sights of the Sassi and Matera, and of course more cafe's and restaurants less than 10 mins walk. Very centrally located for dining out and getting home after a day of sightseeing. Alberto was a great host - his wife would leave us cakes and focaccia while Alberto made sure we were stocked up for the week with pastries for breakfast and housekeeper who kept us...

"This is an incredible place to stay! It is slightly outside of the main tourist town, and a great base in which to see northern Puglia and the Trulli gives you an authentic and unique experience. The owner, Donato, and his family make you feel at home, and their breakfast is fantastic. "This lovely old property on the beach was as advertised. It is spacious and well appointed. All the appliances worked well. Our host Florinda was very gracious and helpful. The property has a beach to walk to and also miles of free beaches and lidos down the coast which we visited. As most apartments we have found with high ceilings, there were no reading lights in the lounge. Extremely clean."

"Amazing accommodation ! This was our first visit to Matera and the La Cava Nel Barisano did not disappoint! Both Rosalba and Gianfranco were fantastic hosts. Every detail was thought of, including Gianfranco shuttling us from the public parking to LaCava and back once our stay was completed! I highly recommend this vacation rental! Easy access to good Trattorias as well as an incredible view of ancient Matera!"

"This was a perfect apartment. Very clean and spacious. Right in the middle of town. Our host was very helpful and prompt reply when needed. We absolutely loved Alberobello. It couldn’t be more unique. Lots of great things to see and do. Good restaurants although you need a reservation for most. We would come here again and most definitely stay in this rental!!"

Allerdings sind die Apartments nicht besonders schön eingerichtet, und bei uns kam auch der Putz von der Schlafzimmerwand.
