major disruptive noise issue at hotel
the hotel rooms were acceptable but most rooms windows faced out into a horse shoe shaped courtyard which was the entry point for a large events hall within the hotel complex. During my stay of 4 nights there were events on there every night lasting to the early hours of the morning with a great deal of noise making it impossible to sleep. people were also drinking and making noise in this courtyard as well as noise when departing with bibbing vehicle horns. In summary a terrible location for a hotel. I have submitted a sepearte email claim to hotel copied to hotels.com. It is the hotels responsibility to inform guests by way of hotels.com or directly if necessary of these potential issues at time of booking. I recieved no such advice.

There were only 4 or 5 on-site parking spots. The rest were on the street. We were lucky enough to get one on site. It's right next to an event centre. If there is an event, it may get loud. We didn't hear much, though. Nice hotel. Good room. We liked having a fridge. There isn't much around as far as food or shopping.

Very nice hotel, quiet,clean . The only thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t get my room cleaned over two days of staying even when I asked for it.other than that, I loved it.

Great find a short drive from the city centre.
Lovely hotel with very modern features, beds are a little hard but not uncomfortable. Staff were very very helpful and polite. Plenty of parking available near the hotel. Would stay again.

Ok
Rented the triple - 3 twin beds fit comfortably in the room. It was clean and the AC worked well. Cons - The drain to the shower is at the shower door and the whole bathroom becomes flooded and wet when anyone showers - also the front desk is closed from 11:30pm to 7am, any issues in between and you are stuck calling an emergency number. We didn’t know this and were checking in 11pm - we were lucky we didn’t end up late

Wedding on the Friday night very noisy hotel in a industrial area nothing around it. Only positive was it was easy access to train station and a great bakery up the road. Good for business travellers but not a tourist hotel as it has no English tv.

Nice, clean out of town hotel.
Clean hotel with friendly staff. Spacious triple room with air conditioning. A bit out of town in industrial area but short walk to train station.

When we arrived the girl was not what we expect combing from another country she didn’t know how to get around, the bed was so uncomfortable.. shower for get it. The family who owned the hotel we could not communicate with.

The hotel is located suburb in industrial neighbourhood, but REALLY quiet and safe. The train station is nearby, about 10 min walking, very convenient to Cathedral/shopping centre. There is also small bakery nearby (1-2 min walk). The hotel invested A LOT money for HIGH TECHNOLOGY in the room, “touch screen panel” for air conditioner, light switch, room cleaning sign, or do not disturb sign etc, really cool! The room decoration is mordern and simple, especially like the “cathedral” wall paper, really soothing and peaceful. The room has air conditioner and mini fridge. The hotel room is really QUIET. They also have a lot free parking. The staff is really nice and friendly. The breakfast is so so, but only 10 euro. Really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Highly recommended if you like QUIET environment,

Good if you're just passing through, or working lo
Friendly staff, easy check-in, good rooms and showers, good breakfast. But it's on an industrial estate 3km away from the nearest bar/restaurant.

Nice if you have a car.
Make sure you know the hotel is far from the center. Half of the hotel has no elevator. There are not many places to eat around, so prepare yourself. The hotel is modern.

Comfortable Hotel with good car parking
We arrived quite late but where able to park at Hotel staff very helpful had got all of my emails. Had booked us breakfast which was lovely. We needed a hotel with good road links to A1/A2 to Dortmund for the next leg of our journey. Was not to far from Tramway.

Rip off Pricing.
Room OK small but up-to-date, Breakfast Fair but not brilliant, lots of noise from outside especially when something happening out the back of the hotel. But yet another example of Rip off prising charging > €500 per night, just because there is a show on and all rooms are full, for a room that should be less than €70 to €100 Max. No English TV channels and most others did not work.

Good place for the night
The hotel is in the industrial estate of Cologne so it was quiet. Limited parking inside complex but plenty just outside. The hotel was very clean and our room was spacious. WiFi connection was excellent in our room. We asked for a lower floor room (no lift) and got one. Breakfast was €9.95 each and there was a good selection to choose from. Hotel is a 10 minute (if that) walk to train stop that takes 15 minutes to get you on to the city. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Short nice stay
My husband stayed for one night before leaving Germany. The hotel was very nice and modern. The room was clean and contained all of the necessary amenities. Since we were there Easter Monday we had a hard time finding open restaurants but the staff member showed my husband and I a local website to order delivery and use our US credit cards which was amazing. He was even willing to translate for us if we had a need to call any of the locations since I only speak English. Overall nice stay and really helpful staff.

Nice hotel in commercial area.
This is a nice, clean hotel in a industrial area close to the Rhine. Tram stop is a short walk to the hotel. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and room was a nice size. Bathroom was clean. Would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Excellent hotel for me
The hotel was perfect, my customer was located just around the corner, within 1 minute drive, the rooms are very modern and very large. Free Wi-Fi for 24 hours. clean and modern bath room. The hotel provides a basic breakfast for just over 9 Euros.. which was excellent.

My stay here was one of the worst I've had over the last 2 years in Europe Let me start off with the positives of this hotel: Rooms are newly refurbished, beds are comfortable and clean. Shower/bathroom is very nice and large Hotel staff was friendly and common areas were nice also Price was reasonable, compared to downtown Cologne Negatives: This hotel is directly connected to an event center. When they are hosting a wedding reception, there is no parking within 1-2k for their paying hotel guests, and the party continues well until 3am. Horns honking, people yelling. Wifi is spotty, does not work well We did not have hot water the first morning, and no A/C or fan the second night (even though the electronic gauge stated it was on), and I couldn't open a window as the partyers were outside hollering at each other drunkenly. I would not suggest staying here if you are wanting to get a full nights sleep. However, it is a nicely remodeled hotel, that would be best left rented to the event goers.

The check out was 11AM, but my card was not working from 10AM, so there was not hot water, lights in the bathroom, air conditioner. I was very unhappy.If it was not that issue with the hot water on the next day I would love the hotel,because it was new and well facilitated.

Ein sehr schönes und gut geführtes Haus. Wir hatten ein schickes großzügiges Drei-Personen-Zimmer mit großem Bad und Klimaanlage. Leider liegt das Hotel im Gewerbegebiet und da war ab ca. 05:00 morgens ordentliche Verkehr, der trotz schallisolierter Fenster zuhören war. Zum Hotel gehört eine Eventgastro, ist zum Feiern bestimmt ziemlich praktisch. Auch ist der Rhein nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt, allerdings muss man auch hier durch das ziemlich abgelegenen Gewerbegebiet laufen. Im Hotel gibt es die Möglichkeit bei einem nahegelegenen Takeaway Essen zu bestellen, welches aufs Zimmer geliefert wird. Das ist perfekt wenn man mit der Bahn schon gefühlt Stunden unterwegs war und sich Abends nicht mehr in die Stadt aufmachen will. Wenn man, wie wir mit dem Zug unterwegs ist, kommt vom U-Bahnhof Niehl- Nord zu Fuß in ca. 6-10Min. am Hotel an. Also im wir waren im ganzen sehr zufrieden mit unserer Übernachtung im Hotel Fortune!

Leider ist der Veranstaltungssaal direkt daneben. Daher Recht laut und das war ganz dringend zu beachten ist dass wenn da neben an eine Feier ist. Gibt es keine Möglichkeit mehr zu parken.. Und das ist nach einem Tag dran man dann in Köln verbracht hat sehr schlecht. Also wenn mit dem Auto da bloß nicht den Parkplatz aufgeben und lieber mit dem Öffis fahren
