Florence Cabin
2nd time staying at this cabin. Other than broken toaster and drip in master bathroom shower, the cabin is great! If you are a light sleeper, there are railroad tracks nearby so you’ll hear some train noise. Some traffic noise too but nothing a sleep sounds app can’t remedy. Had a great stay.

Easter at Florence
The place was excellent. Quality amenities, great outdoor spaces, and lots of rooms. I would recommend this to anyone and we will be back again.

Perfect log cabin!
Looked for a place to stay as we had family venturing in from Virginia to join us, who were venturing from the middle of S.C., to attend my nephew's wedding celebration. This cabin was PERFECT!! It has an extremely large master bedroom (bed was oh-so comfy), bath (with an awesome doubles shower!), and large closet for hanging our fancy clothes. The two extra bedrooms upstairs well accommodated our children and lovely daughter-in-law. The kitchen was well stocked and I appreciated the extra fuzzy blankets in the basket in the LR. I always rise early for my coffee and reading time and the warmth of the blanket and the lovely decorated cabin made my quiet time quite pleasant. The one thing I disliked was that we were so busy with weddings events that we didn't get to take advantage of the large backyard and fire pit; that would have be a lot of fun. One thing to note is that the VRBO listing shows a "hot tub." The upstairs bathroom has a tub and hot water, but that is not a "hot tub," as in "bring your swimsuit and soak" tub. I sent a message to the owner so he could notify the VRBO people about that, but other than that little bit of confusion, the place was PERFECT! Highly recommend and hope it's available the next time we need to make a trip to Florence.

Weekend getaway
Everything is wonderful but kind of disappointed because no hot tub. Looking forward to that coming from Maryland but got over it. The refrigerator still had stuff left in it but I can understand because maybe other people might want something Overall I gave it a 4. We were down for a wedding at Glenview Farm which was beautiful.

Tidy Cabin
The property was clean, comfortable and easy to access. We enjoy every minute of our stay and our dogs did too! It was nice to have a fenced yard to let the dogs roam free. Thanks for a great stay! Wm.

Cabin
Nice cabin close to Florence. Everything went well but we weren’t expecting 24/7 road noise and train noise. Had everything we needed but toaster was broken and master shower dripped. Had room for the dogs to play and we did use the fire-pit after we cleaned out the glass and trash. It was relaxing to sit on the front porch and we’d stay again if we needed to. Would bring a white noise machine for sleeping and cushions for dining room chairs if we stayed again. They were too short for the table. Hope this helps the next guests. :)

We had an amazing time during our short stay for our alumni golf tournament. Very peaceful and quiet, and had absolutely no complaints! Will definitely try and come back to stay next year!

Family Means So Much
The property was very comfy and welcoming, exactly what my siblings and I needed to reconnect after 21 years of being apart. Lots of space, all the amenities were offered, quiet serene atmosphere for relaxing and privacy… We enjoyed the games included on the porch, lots of laughter and memories were made.❤️ Loved the rocking chairs. Conveniently located to access the Scenic downtown Florence areas. However there was a few hiccups, an issue with ants (nature’s course I guess), the garbage removal for extended stays which probably contributed to the ants, and the family room and dining room furniture (sofas/chairs), they’re a little outdated and not very comfortable…. Overall the stay was excellent and I greatly appreciate Brad, for his prompt response to my every request and his assistance with all of my Family‘a needs… I greatly recommend this property to any family.

Great place to hang out for a few days
We were in town visiting family and this was a great place to hang out hats for a few days. Communication was excellent given that it was a holiday weekend. Very nice property and well stocked.

Very nice
The home was very nice and we enjoyed it a lot: especially the front porch! One thing I did notice was that there was a small ant issue: most noticeably in the upstairs bathroom. Not a lot; but something you might want to check out.

Amazing place
This place was absolutely amazing. Before I even rented, I reached out to the owner and received prompt responses. The house itself was great. Has a fenced in backyard, a fire pit, and a dartboard. Very cozy. We all enjoyed our stay here.

Overall good. Slight issues 1) kitchen cabinet door off hinge, 2) not super clean [we brought our two dogs and chasing a rolling ball highlights a lot of dirt, dust, candy etc under furniture], 3) the burning of household trash was a mess in the backyard with the dogs. Aerosol cans, glass, food they tried to eat, rib bones etc. The yard was fenced and I was told in advance you would need to take them on a lead but it was inconvenient to not have a back door. Chairs were too low for the dining room table. My husband is 6’ and his head was barely above the table. I had to sit on two cushions. Could be a cute place but needs work. I vacuumed before I left.

Hi Victoria, Thank you very much for your feedback. This is certainly not acceptable to us and we apologize for any inconvenience. We are a fairly new owner & are still learning the ways a little bit. There is always a little maintenance to do around the cabin so I apologize for the cabinet door being off the hinge....we are continually working to keep things well taken care of and will make sure this is fixed. You are the first guest that we have had any mention of cleanliness being an issue so I'm not sure what happened there but again....apologies. The trash in the fire pit caught us off guard a little bit as we expected people to be a little more respectful of the property and not leave items like that in the fire or burn trash/toxins. We are now letting people know not to do so and it was cleaned up as soon as you all left. Good luck ma'am!

SC Family Trip
The cabin offered a nice relaxing atmosphere. It was spacious enough to accommodate our family and had a nice touch with age-appropriate toys available for my child. The hosts were kind and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this house!

Great cabin!
My husband, daughter and 2 grand children came in for a quick visit for my mom’s birthday. The cabin was perfect- clean and comfy, and so many great toys for the babes!! Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer!!

Cute little cabin
My family and I stayed 4 nights for a graduation. The cabin had plenty of room for my family of 7. It is just far enough out of town to be peaceful and quiet but close enough you don’t have to drive hours to find something to do. If I had to say something negative it would be the fire pit in the back was not very well maintained. We did not plan to use it anyway so it didn’t affect our stay, if we wanted to use it we would not have been able to. Over all a very cute place to stay and the communication was quick. Definitely recommend.

Nice peaceful cabin
Large but cozy and lots to do fron cornhole to darts. This is a great place. We visit south carolina often to vosit family. We would live to stay again.

Peaceful retreat

fun and affordable stay
this cabin was just what me and my friends needed for a weekend away. the weather wasn’t great so we played some games they had set up and a big porch to relax on in the rain. I’ll be booking another stay this year with some other friends to hit the sxs trails and a beach day for sure!
