Beautiful farm location with resort feel
This property is located on an olive farm surrounded by the olive trees and stone walls as far as the eye can see. The Trullo and the main house are set apart from each other on either side of a stone patio with a large outdoor dining table, a stone pizza oven at the end of the trull and an outdoor fireplace. We made pizzas one night and another great fire pit night chatting and drinking wine around the fireplace. Behind the main house overlooking the farm is the beautiful pool and another covered outdoor eating area. Inside the house is beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils, there are newer AC/heat units in most of the rooms. It would get quite chilly at night as we were there in march, so those heat units came in handy. And super comfortable beds. The trullo is quite dark during the day as there are no windows except on the entry doors, but we used it for sleeping only, so it worked out perfect for us. It is still very modern and beautiful inside. It is located in a great area accessible to Ostuni (which we chose as our primary city for dinners and such) and also San Michele Salentino. Groceries were nearby as well, and a great farmers market on Saturday morning. You can miss it. We bought huge artichokes and cooked them for dinner. So good! Marco was our offsite main contact and he was very responsive, and Guiseppe was the farmer who met us at the property and couldn't have been nicer! Highly recommend!

We had a really enjoyable stay. The property easily accommodated our group of 6 adults and 5 teenagers. We really enjoyed the indoor open fire with wood supplied and easy communication with the owner. Plenty of car accommodation and large pool available for swimming in warmer weather. The property was a little difficult to initially locate but communication with the owner soon had us sorted. Thanks for the stay Marco!

Peace in Puglia
The villa was lovely – quiet, secluded and beautiful. The location is quite remote so having Waze and Google maps on your phone helps to locate it precisely. A car is essential.

Marco was such a kind host. The property is perfect for a family or friend get together. Marco helped us arrange daily cleaning which we wanted to do as an extra and to help flip the bedroom between various guests we had coming in and out, and a chef to come and cook at the property which were great touches and really elevated the experience. To note if you are filling the property, one double bedroom (in the trullo) either has to walk through another bedroom or use the main house for their bathroom. Fine for us but to be prepared. The sofa bed is inside one of the bedrooms so appropriate for a child with their parents for example. No air conditioning in the bunk room or second bedroom in the main house, but they were perfectly cool and useable owing to the air con in main areas. Hiring a car essential. 20 mins drive to Ostuni and Marco also helped us with a local taxi company who were professional. Marco was incredibly helpful and always quick to respond. We stayed for 2 weeks and would return without hesitation. The villa is a perfect size, user friendly and lovely atmosphere. Thank you Marco !

Large & well stocked!
We had a great time here. The property was large with lots of living space, strong air conditioning during a July heat wave and a large refreshing pool. The indoor kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen, but the pizza oven and fire pit made for some enjoyable nights outdoors in the courtyard between the trullo and the main building. We had one small issue with the internet and the owner was very quick to get it running properly again. All communication was quick and easy. We highly recommend Trullo del Sole!

Great location, easy property to relax in. What a pool!
The property is in a great location in Pulgia. Easy to get to everything but not too busy. Very well equipped and a high standard. Trulli are magical. Marco is very responsive and communicated well. Giuseppe, who looks after the house is a gem. It is important to remember it is the south of Italy so not all works to plan, e.g, we lost power one day and the rubbish collection is a bit random. But just message Marco and he explains and helps out. Wifi is adequate for emails, Googling but not for video calls etc.

Peaceful retreat
Locating the property was very difficult as no street numbers or property name used. In addition, the photo of the entrance provided looked nothing like the actual entrance, so it took us a very frustrating 3 hours to find it from Bari airport. The property itself was just wonderful and a perfect base for exploring Puglia. We stayed 14 days. You do need a car as closest village, San Michele Salentino, is about 15 minutes away. It was lovely to come home to after a day exploring - light the fire, cook a meal, enjoy a wine which can be purchased via the property. We were 3 couples and the property was large enough to provide privacy as well as good facilities for sharing time. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing villa and facilities, perfect for friends and families!
Our family and our friends family stayed for two weeks during Easter. Communication from booking and throughout our stay was perfect! The property was immaculately clean. There were all the facilities and two washing machines which was perfect for our two families one of which had a 1yr old. The pool was regularly checked and we loved the outdoor kitchen. We would fully recommend and stay again! Thank you

A Perfect Spot
Trullo del Sole really lives up to its billing. The main house is spacious and unusually well equipped - no shortage of utensils if you want to cook - the trulli are charming and the outdoor areas are beautifully designed, with separate spaces to hang out in. The pool is a good size and kept scrupulously clean. Altogether a delight to stay in!

We had a lovely stay. Very good communication. We got a good trullo experience. The wifi was not fast or reliable, and we didn't have mobile signal on property, so that was challenging. We didn't spend much time on the property though, as we were exploring Pulgia.

Great facilities for cooking and dining outside
The property is beautiful inside and out with lots of amenities for anyone looking to enjoy preparing the culinary offerings of Puglia’s markets. We had a power cut when we were there due to a thunderstorm, and communication with Marco couldn’t have been better when he was rectifying the situation for us.

Pretty Trullo and farm house with excellent swimming pool and additional outdoor kitchen area
The owners have decorated the property very nicely and with lots of homely and thoughtful touches. The shower rooms were good with a wonderful big one in the old trullo and always plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Very comfortable beds. Lovely helpful housekeeper and her husband who looked after the pool. Lovely helpful owners who went to lots of trouble to answer our questions

Super séjour dans cette maison
L'accueil était très belle avec Guiseppe , une personne adorable ! Les réponses aux questions ont été très rapides avec le propriétaire par WhatsApp . Beaucoup d'informations données sur les magasins aux alentours , les restaurants , les bonnes adresses .Nous nous sommes vraiment sentis bien dans cette maison et son accompagnement . Ottima sistemazione per gruppo di amici, come nel nostro caso, e per famiglie. Struttura tipica della campagna salentina ( i caratteristici trulli) ma dotata di tutti i comfort. Ottimo anche il collegamento stradale per le località limitrofe del Salento. La signora Cesira, anche se lontana, è comunque sempre presente telefonicamente, pronta a fornire informazioni ed indicazioni. Le foto del sito corrispondono in pieno alla realtà. Siamo stati bene, assolutamente da consigliare. Grazie a Cesira e Giuseppe

Nous sommes 3 couples d'amis avec des enfants âgées de 4 à 11 ans et nous revenons d'une belle semaine passée dans les pouilles. Nous recommandons ce logement qui est typique et qui bien situé pour visiter la région. Nous avions à notre disposition un livre regroupant les "bonnes" adresses pour découvrir les lieux insolites et la gastronomie locale. Le propriétaire est soucieux de ses hôtes (très bonne communication). Sur place, Lucia s'occupe de nous et nous propose ses délicieuses focaccia. N'hésitez pas à séjourner à cet endroit.

Total entspannter Familienurlaub trotz schlechtem Wetter
Bei unserer Anreise empfing uns Lucia mit einem Lächeln, machte eine kurze Führung und übergab uns die Schlüssel. Das Haus, das Gelände, der Pool und die Beleuchtung wunderschön. Die Außenküche haben wir super gerne genutzt. Auch der Pizzaofen wurde einmal von uns angeheizt. Zur Lage: Weit und breit nur Olivenbäume. Toll. Einkaufsmöglichkeit sind gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit Marco, dem Hausbesitzer, war von Anfang bis Ende super. Vor der Anreise kamen whatsapp-Nachrichten für die Anfahrt. Bei irgendwelchen Fragen während unserem Urlaub kam sofort eine Anwort und bei technischen Problemen kam Guiseppe. Eine rundum tolle Betreuung. Vielen lieben Dank. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Urlaub genossen.

Beautiful house and garden
We spent one week in the trullo del sole and had a wonderful time. Check in and out was easy. Marco was very friendly and always available. One night there was a problem with the water tank and he had it fixed by the next morning. We would love to come back! Thank you.

Agréable location
Maison agréable à vivre, très bien située pour rayonner dans les Pouilles, magnifique région à découvrir. La partie Trulli est vraiment charmante et reste assez fraîche malgré la chaleur (la clim est installée partout si besoin, et silencieuse en mode nuit). Lave linge dans chaque bâtiment, très pratique. A savoir: il n'y a qu'une chambre (avec grand lit et lits superposés) dans la maison principale, nous n'avons donc pas pu y loger les enfants seuls. Pas grave mais à savoir si enfants en bas âge. Installations agréables pour dîner le soir dehors, sous les oliviers, et le babyfoot a été bien utile ;-) Les 2 seuls petits bémols finalement sont la proximité immédiate de la route (relativement passante donc un peu d'inquiétude en présence d'enfants) et l'usure de certains détails qui pourraient être revus (les serviettes de toilette qui ont bien vécu...). Communication rapide et efficace avec les propriétaires, indications d'arrivée très précises et appréciables. Dans l'ensemble un séjour agréable!

TRULLO IN COMPAGNIA
Abbiamo soggiornato la prima settimana di luglio, 6 adulti e 6 bambini. Trullo bellissimo, curato nei minimi dettagli, spazioso e pulito, immerso negli uliveti e nel silenzio, eccezion fatta per le cicale. ;) dotato di qualsiasi comfort( dall'aria condizionata alle lavatrici(ben due) ad una fantastica piscina a giochi e ombrelloni per la spiaggia), molto ben arredato. Abbiamo anche usufruito della cena pugliese preparata dalla signora Lucia ( cena a base di focacce e salumi): tutto delizioso. se proprio proprio dobbiamo trovare una pecca il bagno in comune all due stanze nel trullo principale. Gentilissime la signora Lucia (la custode) e la signora Cesira (proprietaria).

Wunderschöne Ferien in Apulien
Wir (3 Familien, 6 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder) durften 10 wundervolle Tage im "Trullo del Sole" verbringen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die beiden miteinander verbundenen, durch eine Tür voneinander abgrenzbaren Trulli teilen sich ein schönes, großes Bad (allerdings muss man durch eines der Schlafzimmer gehen, um in das Bad zu gelangen - das muss man vielleicht wissen). Das Haupthaus hat einen sehr gemütlichen Wohnbereich mit Kamin, eine schöne Landhausküche, ein großes Schlafzimmer mit extra Stockbett und einem kleinen Bad. Darüber hinaus gibt es am Pool auch noch ein Bad mit Dusche. Der Pool ist groß mit vielen Liegemöglichkeiten, besonders schön ist das überdachte Daybed mit bequemen Auflagen. Für Kinder gibt es diverse Badespielsachen, Luftmatrazen etc. im Abstellraum, sowie einen Kickertisch. Unsere Kinder hatten einen Riesenspaß! Besonders gefallen hat uns der Außenbereich: er ist wunderschön eingewachsen mit einem alten Olivenbaum unter dem man an einer langen Steintafel im Schatten essen kann. Die Außenküche mit Grill und Gasherd wurde von uns intensiv genutzt - es gab für uns kaum etwas Schöneres als im Freien mit Blick auf den Olivenhain zu kochen! Wir haben auch einen typisch apulischen "Focaccia Abend" gebucht - einen herzlichen Dank nochmals an Lucia! Es war einfach köstlich! Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge nach Ostuni, Alberobello, Locorotondo etc. und auch der Strand ist nur ca. 20min Autofahrt entfernt. Der Kontakt mit Cesira (per Whatsapp und Telefon immer erreichbar) war stets perfekt! Sie geht auf alle Wünsche ein und hilft wo sie kann. Wir können Trullo del Sole uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans cette authentique demeure avec un groupe de 7 personnes. La maison est très fonctionnelle et très bien située. Les températures un peu trop basses ne nous ont pas permis de profiter de la très belle piscine. La situation géographique permet la visite de très beaux sites sans devoir parcourir de trop longues distances. Lucia, la personne de contact sur place, nous a préparé une excellente "Focaccia" locale. Nous avons pu profiter également des déjeuners préparés par Giuseppe. La propriétaire des lieux, que nous avons eu en ligne à plusieurs reprises, est extrêmement sympathique et nous a été de très bon conseil pour la visite de la région.

Unvergessliche Ferien in schöner Umgebung und Ambiente!
Ruhige Lage, von einigen Obstbäumen umgeben, mit viel Aussenfläche und grosszügigem Umschwung - Nachtruhestörung war kein Thema. Der Haus-Service von Lucia und von Giuseppe, der Pool- und Gartenchef war hervorragend, beide sind sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation mit Marco, dem Besitzer, war super. Er hat schnell und immer hilfsbereit auf unsere Fragen und Wünsche reagiert. Beide Trullis, die miteinander verbunden sind, haben leider keine Klimaanlage. Ventilatoren wurden uns auf Wunsch zur Verfügung gestellt. Das gemeinsame Badezimmer mit eigener Waschmaschine ist grosszügig und schön. Das Haupthaus verfügt über 2 Klimaanlagen im Wohnzimmer und Küche. Für das Schlafzimmer wurde auch ein Ventilator besorgt. Sonst alles grosszügig, Küche gut eingerichtet, ebenfalls mit Waschmaschine. Ausseneinrichtung: Küche mit Grill + Herd topp, daneben gibt es einen Abstellraum mit zweitem Kühlschrank und div. Artikel für den Pool was wir gerne benutzten. Der Pool war fantastisch, gut gepflegt, mit schöner Beleuchtung nachts. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist dass es nur einen funktionierenden, stabilen Sonnenschirm hat für den ganzen Poolbereich. Schatten gab es sonst nur unter der Veranda. Der Fussballtisch und Pingpong Tisch boten eine willkommene Abwechslung v.a. bei den Jüngeren! Alles in Allem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt, genossen die Ferien und empfehlen die Villa gerne weiter.

Trullo del sol: Un endroit authentique dans la campagne des Pouilles Italienne
Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette maison de vacance. Deux semaines de pure repos à la campagne. Le Trullo del sol réuni tous le confort: une splendide piscine, des transats, deux cuisines (dont une extérieure), trois salles de bains (dont une extérieure super pratique), de belles chambres, la climatisation, une table de ping-pong, un babyfoot, des vélos pour faire de magnifique balades dans la campagne.... la liste est encore longue. La maison est très bien entretenu par des personnes sérieuses, disponibles, efficaces et surtout très discrètes. Merci à Lucia pour son travail et surtout pour cette merveilleuse soirée foccacia. Merci à Giuseppe qui tous les matins est venu entretenir la piscine. Et bien entendu, un grand merci à Cesira qui nous a permis durant ces deux semaines de nous sentir comme chez nous. Je vous recommande vivement cette location.
