Beautiful rooftop and friendly staff
Las Brisas is a great central location with friendly staff and a beautiful rooftop terrace. The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. We loved the colourful murals everywhere. The only issue was noise, as the hotel is on a main street.

nice and clean
A great clean place. Big bed and a heater provided in case you feel cold, which was great. The stuff were also extremely nice.

Short break
I stayed here 4 nights and it was fine. Building work was taking place so there was noise in the daytime but as I was out most of the time that was fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure what happened to breakfast on day 1 as it was really lacking but the other days were fine.

Hotel is close to the markets and plenty of food options which was good. The pillows and bed were quite hard which made for an uncomfortable sleep. Rooms are a bit of the small side for 2 people plus luggage. Shower had plenty of hot water and pressure, but no propoer shower head so water goes everywhere, Most staff didnt speak English, so make sure you have a translation app. Rooms face internal hall, so you dont get any street noise. There is also a lift, which is good for luggage. Wifi seemed to work, but did cut out on occasion.

The best hotel in La Paz for hour money
It was one of the best hotels we stayed at in Bolivia! The price was great; the location was convenient, and the service was very good. They were very acommodating. We went to the hotel almost three hours before the check in time. They let us stay in without any extra charge. The hotel is very pretty and clean.

Awesome hostel La Paz
The woman on reception is a credit to the hostel, she can speak many languages and is so helpful. The rooms are fine, clean sheets, good TV, great Wi-Fi. But you pay for this, the hostel is not cheap. Breakfast is awesome. Front of the hostel is a little noisy, but if you need they will move you to the back. And if you get altitude sickness, they have a kettle and coca tea in reception. The location is in the better area of La Paz, safe and not as seedy as other areas. If your buget allows I recommend this place, especially if you've never been to La Paz before.

Hotel is well situated in La Paz
It was a comfortable stay and I couldn’t fault the lady on the front desk. However the room was a little stuffy as the only natural light was from the through corridor to other rooms on this floor. Despite this, it is good value for money especially considering the bustling city it is in!!

Hotel located in tourist area close to shopping and restaurants. Hotel reception was very accommodating. Choose a room away from front of building away from street noise.

As expected for the price
Room and bed were comfortable but onto the street so noisy (thank goodness for ear plugs). Wi-Fi was extremely flaky. Desk staff were helpful and spoke English well. I left my make up in the room when I checked out which was not "found". A local guide said the maids probably took it and did not report it...my own fault for leaving it but annoying none the less.

Great Location
The staff at the hotel are very accommodating. The location is perfect for walking to the tourist areas. Lots of restaurants and cafes close by and shopping as well. Rooms at back are quiet.

Very good hotel for the price
You get what you pay for. The staff is very friendly, showers heat up nicely. Please note that there is no room heater but they provide very thick blankets so sleeping is no issue. If you get a room next to the street, it can get noisy because of all the cars honking. The breakfast area is very beautiful. I would recommend this hotel!

Disappointing
Ridiculous to charge $1 for eggs at breakfast after paying $90 for the room. The room was stuffy and cold. No hot water at night. Very poor service: after requesting an early breakfast on our last day, we were told it would be available 10 mins before usual time. The hotel did not keep their word. Very disappointing, and not the value you expect for such a rate.

Good value and location.
Centrally located, within walking distance to many restaurants, cafés, main plazas and museums. Very friendly, efficient and accommodating staff. Comfortable rooms and breakfast simple but in line with the rest of the country for this type of accommodation. Good value for money.

Reasonable option for "Tourist District" of La Paz
One night & booking one room is good for no issues. It's a reasonable price for the location and you get a very basic cold breakfast of bread, butter, jam, yogurt, rice puff cereal, coffee, tea, punch. If you plan to stay more than one night, please learn from my experience ... (1) A room facing the street suffers from street/car noise and exhaust (especially a Friday night), request a room away from street -even if you have "two beds", beds are large enough to sleep two in one bed.(2) I reserved TWO rooms & received Email confirmation. Upon arrival, there were issues that still leave me boggled, because we got the requested rooms but when I went to pay the next day, I kept being told there was a problem with my reservation (they did not have the entire reservation printed out). I kept hearing complaints from the hotel person that Expedia "takes a commission" & had difficulty with getting a total price. There was some issue on their end, even though after all the arguing, there was no issue, only a very nominal increase on the total price was being requested. It was terrible trying to figure out what the hassle was about and am still confused about it. I finally got the rooms paid for and that's all I cared about. (3)There's no heaters but warm blankets & hot shower (don't stay in winter) (4)There's no "No Molestar" sign, so I made my own. Don't leave valuables in the rooms b/c we inadvertently found that our room key also unlocked a room on another floor!

This hotel was at the level of a nice and clean hostel. The rooms are very small with minimal extras. I liked the location, staff, and security at the door. The tour department available in the hotel was also a plus. The staff is very nice and able to speak in English.

Pleasant stay
Orderly and attractive facility with concierge who greeted and assisted with food/shopping suggestions. Elevator / internet (not great wi-fi but better than other Bolivian cities). Rooms were cleaned and beds made up daily. Great Italian restaurant a few doors down that we loved. In-house laundry service.

IT WAS THE AWESOME STAFF THAT MADE MY STAY WONDERFUL, UNFORGETTABLE, AND MADE ME FEEL AT HOME. I STAYED A TOTAL OF ABOUT 7 NIGHTS OR SO. THEY TOOK THE TIME TO CHAT WITH YOU AND ASK HOW YOUR DAY WAS. ROOMS WERE CLEAN. WIFI CONNECTION. GREAT VIEW IF ON TOP FLOOR, BUT ALSO FACES THE STREET SO DEPENDING ON HOW SENSITIVE YOUR HEARING IS. LOCATION IS EASY WALKING DISTANCE TO THE SHOPS AND PLACES TO SEE IN LA PAZ CENTER. LOTS OF EATERIES CLOSE BY FOR QUICK BITE TO EAT. NEXT DOOR TO A MONEY EXCHANGE. ONSITE POST OFFICE AND A COUPLE OF TRAVEL AGENCIES. OVERALL STAY, AMAZING. WILL STAY THERE AGAIN.

Room was small and very basic, which didn't bother my boyfriend and I much, our travels don't involve being in the hotel much. However, there was a very string and weird smell every time we entered the room, you didn't notice it after you were in it for awhile, but did on coming and going. Fine place to crash, we got along okay there as we speak a little bit if Spanish, but it didn't seem like anyone at reception spoke English, so if you need a lot of help and don't have communication basics, you may be in trouble. One of them (Alvero) was great, we mentioned we wanted to go to the market in El Alto and he says he was going the next day and we could go with him. Showed us to the gondola and then walked around with us and told us about the market (which is HUGE). Many thanks to him!!

Good. Place to stay in central La Paz
Close to everything, VERY accommodating staff, especially Raquel and Martin at reception desk. Great breakfast, lots of in-house services including dining, massage, laundry and they stored my luggage for three days at no charge. Assistance with booking taxis, changing currency and locating local sights.
