Great views and though the place seems a little worn you can tell it was very high end. Example: Blinds were difficult or inoperable, but the bathroom fixtures and huge shower were really high end. The room was a good size and the balcony was very nice. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! We were greeted by very welcoming staff. Our room was extremely clean and very comfortable. Our water view was absolutely gorgeous! Upon check out staff was very friendly and wanted to ensure our visit was nice which it was. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you to the staff at Tides Inn

We absolutely loved the view and the comfortable bed. The fireplace was a nice plus. A very pleasant experience.

Beware of the word “deluxe”. Room 131 is not big enough for midgets. Toe stubbing and wall knocking was constant. The Wi-Fi did not load anything online. The TV remote stopped working for channel functions but volume was fine so it wasn’t the battery. The deck did not look safe to use. Parking was for compact only. Water View was great! Way too much cost for that room at $200.

The room was clean and modern, but the balcony was hazardous with peeling paint and nailheads popping up. The stupendous view of the ocean right outside the window is why we booked this hotel!

I would not stay here again. Although the remodel idea of hard flooring looks nice, it’s an echo chamber, and the walls are super thin. We got to listen to the neighbors have a massive fight in the middle of the night. The door doesn’t fit the frame, so the bright lights from the hall shine directly on the bed all night. And the pillows are complete crap.

The waterfront location is great. The rooms were clean, but the exteriors were very tired. The sliding glass doors didn’t open, but they let us change rooms to one that did sort of work. The decks are sadly in need of paint. But, it’s a convenient location and you can walk into the charming historic town.
